Refund Policy

At 3DX Ankara Fabrics we want you to love every yard. If something isn’t right with your order, this policy explains when and how you can return fabric for a refund or exchange. It applies to all online orders placed through our website and orders placed through WhatsApp that are dispatched from our shop in Iganmu, Lagos.
1. Refund Eligibility
You may request a return or refund within 7 days of receiving your order, provided all of the following are true:
- The fabric is unused, uncut, unwashed, and unaltered.
- The original tags, labels, and any selvedge markings are intact.
- You can provide proof of purchase (order number or payment reference).
- The return is initiated within 7 days from the day the parcel is delivered or collected from the shop.
Eligible reasons for return include: the fabric received differs materially from what was ordered, manufacturing defects (such as printing errors, holes, or tears not disclosed at sale), or a wrong item being shipped.
2. Non-Refundable Items
The following are final sale and cannot be refunded or exchanged:
- Fabric that has been cut from the bolt to your custom length, washed, ironed, or altered in any way.
- Items marked as “clearance”, “final sale”, or sold at deep discount.
- Fabric remnants and end-of-bolt offcuts.
- Custom or specially-sourced orders made on request.
- Items returned without prior authorisation or returned after the 7-day window has closed.
- Slight colour variations between screen and physical fabric, or minor pattern alignment differences that are normal in woven and wax-printed textiles — these are not considered defects.
3. How to Request a Refund
- Email support@3dxankarafabrics.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number, the reason for the return, and clear photos of the fabric.
- We will respond within 2 business days with a return authorisation and instructions. Do not ship the fabric back before receiving authorisation — unauthorised returns cannot be processed.
- Send the fabric back, securely packaged, to our Iganmu shop in Lagos. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the return is due to our error (wrong item or verifiable defect).
- Once we receive and inspect the fabric, we will email you to confirm whether the refund has been approved.
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 to 14 business days, depending on your bank and payment processor.
4. Exchanges
If you would prefer to exchange the fabric for a different design or colour rather than receive a refund, let us know in your return request and we will hold the replacement for you. Any price difference will either be charged or refunded as a store credit.
5. Damaged or Wrong Items on Arrival
Please inspect your parcel as soon as it arrives. If the fabric is damaged in transit or you have received the wrong item, contact us within 48 hours with photos of the parcel and the fabric. We will arrange a free return and send the correct fabric or issue a full refund, including the original delivery cost.
6. Currency
All refunds are issued in the original transaction currency to the original payment method. For Naira (₦) transactions, refunds are processed in line with Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) settlement timelines. For card payments made in foreign currency, the amount you receive may differ slightly from the original charge due to exchange rate movements between the date of purchase and the date of refund — this difference is set by your bank and is outside our control.
7. Order Cancellations
You may cancel an order at no cost before it has been cut and packed. Once we have cut the fabric to your length and packed it for dispatch, the order can no longer be cancelled, but it may still be eligible for a return after delivery if it meets the conditions in Section 1.
